Is Lebron and Wade more feared than Shaq and Kobe were?

Nah, he's right. GP was getting torched by Chauncey and Malone was hurt. GP was getting done so bad that Phil switched Kobe onto Chauncey to cool him off and when he did Rip started going off, it was quite pathetic. Kobe did chuck a bit, but I honestly think if Malone hadn't have gotten hurt we would have won that series.

Once again I am not absolving the role players. However that series belongs squarely on the shoulders of Shaq and Kobe. It's not like they both balled out and the role players just let them down. Them nikkas did not ball out anywhere near the level we had seem them perform at during the previous years.

Kobe had to shoot 3's "over multiple nikkaz" because anytime he Put the ball on the floor and got by Prince, the Pistons team swarmed Him with tons of help defense. So many times he said F it and kept shooting those jumpers which didnt fall as much as normal. You need to re-watch those finals

Shaq's defense was poor but they lost that series largely because they're was no other offensive help or threat against the pistons beside shaq and Kobe. Game one aside from those 2 scored a combined 16 points(no one scored more then 5).That team was trash outisde those 2. Remember this wasnt just any normal defense, the pistons from the sheed trade on were playing arguably the best defense of any team ever.

Honestly that team overachieved, you could've made a case they should've lost to the spurs and that series against the wolves even with Sam cassell being hurt was relatively close

Pistons were great on D no doubt but they also damn near lost to the Nets. They came within a Tayshaun block of losing the Pacers. Let's not act like they were invincible. My recollections of those Finals are Shaq being single covered and the Pistons not paying for it, Kobe throwing up horrible shots, Rip and Chauncey taking turns doing as they pleased, Malone getting hurt, and yes the Lakers role players not making shots. Once again I never defended their play however it's a cop out IMO to absolve Shaq and Kobe in that series.

The nets and pacers were excellent defense teams though. I can't really say the same thing about the Lakers. And another thing Kobe got like no calls in that finals. Prince CLEARLY fouled him on jumpers repeatedly and no there's was no whistles. He drives to the rim agressively, and again no whistle.

He had 25 free throws in 5 games in the NBA finals(an average of 5 a game) To put that in perspective, Dwayne wade had 97 free throws in 6 games in the 2006 NBA finals

word @ nets n pacers. i remember some bisexual here tried to tell me that the sixers, nets and pacers were all trash defensively after i said lebron and the heat got bodied by arguably the softest team to make the finals in the last 13 years

and some other bisexual argued that wades finals was "the best of all time" even with that glaring free throw stat. dude was shooting free throws every 3 seconds and sht :whoa:

None of that absolves kobe and shaq for their play. Lakers could have been better on D if tge modern day Wilt played like it. :rudy: at complaining about whistles. Kobe and Shaq got more than their share if whistles over the years. Not gonna get em shooting fadeaway 3s though. They didnt get it done in that series, period.

thread title is wrong, Where is Bosh in this? Dude is like top 5 PF in the league, can score 30 any night they NEED him to.

He is very important to this team...actually is the main reason you can't double Wade & Bron & get away with it.
