I got, in order:
Jordan
Cap
Timmy
Magic
Bean
Bron
Russell
Shaq
Wilt
Bird

Duncan has a greater resume than Bron especially when considering defense. 15 first or second team defense in 20 year career 5 rings 3 FMVP 2 MVP.

Bron 3 rings 3 FMVP 4 MVP 11 first team NBA soon to 12 first team:troll:

Total points TIMMY 26k
LEBRON 31k

Total point playoff TIMMY 5172
Lebron 6555

Lebron did this in 15 year , Timmy did in 20 year

GET THE fukk OUTTA TELL ME THAT TIMMY IS BETTER THAN BRON

OTHER THAN RINGS TIMMY DNT HAVE ARGUMENTS

5 rings> Empty stats
And just going by stats, Timmy has him on defense by a country mile. One of the GOAT defensive players ever.

No for quite a few reasons...

Never carried an aging star and a bunch of nobodies to titles like Timmy did...

Not going to win titles in 3 different decades like Timmy did...

Won't spend his entire career playing for one franchise like Timmy did...

Hasn't changed his role like Timmy did (from doing everything for the team in his prime to being primarily a defender and rebounder late in his career)...Lebron still has the juice to be the best player wherever he goes and it will depend on his ego when he does slow down does he allow himself to become more of a specialist...

As great as Ice man and David were...Spurs never won shyt until Timmy got there...dude is the bedrock for a franchise with the most sustained excellence in north america sports...Bron could never do that since he has moved from team to team and every team he leaves is trash for at least a year because the entire team is built to play "bron ball"...

If you have Tim Duncan you know you can have a team with an aging star and a bunch of role players and you can win a chip...then when they are gone and your brand new young point guard and euro shooting guard have to learn how to play in the nba you know Timmy is so good you can win two more chips...then as they do get good enough to carry the offense you know Timmy will age gracefully and you can win ANOTHER chip...and then when you draft a guy at 15 and think he could one day be your franchise player...you know Duncan can hang on long enough that you team is still championship caliber and you can win ANOTHER CHIP....

You won't ever see that in the nba again...where you can build 3 different teams around 1 guy for 3 decades and walk out with 5 titles AND have realistic chances at a championship virtually every year...

Out of all the things you could hold against him why would you post this ?

Because it's the second hardest thing to do in sports and Timmy did it twice...well...one and a half times...

People always throw out "well Timmy had David" and David couldn't play longer than about 6 real game minutes at a time before his body would give out...

In that 2003 run David could barely stand up...but Timmy took them home anyway...

In 1999 when 34 year old Avery Johnson couldn't score 10 points a game off wide open shooting...I am talking Draymond Green levels of being left open...Timmy took them home anyway...

Lebron actually does the opposite of what Timmy did...when his team gets old he bounces...

Zeke and Marshall getting old...I'm out I'm going to Miami...

Wade and Bosh getting old...I'm out I'm going back to Cleveland...

Nobody is knocking Duncan. He carried a couple squads too. They really didn’t add depth until his peak years were over and pop started managing his minutes. He was fortunate in the sense that the east was so bad from 1999-2004. The spurs had the good fortune of facing the Knicks and nets in the 1999 and 2003 finals. By the 2004-05 team, they had some firepower around Timmy though. Parker and Manu were combining to average 32 points and 10 assists while the spurs fielded the best defense in basketball so by the time they saw a real time in the finals in Detroit, Duncan had some help. The suns should’ve beaten them in 2005. Joe Johnson getting hurt :martin:

Breh you talking about good fortune for Timmy and Lebron has played in maybe the weakest era of the eastern conference ever :baldhuh:

Duncan was a better anchor and man 2 man defender
Not sure about that. Dave got dpoy, led league in blocks multiple times. Averaged 3 blks for his career (4.5 blks in 94’) where Duncan has never averaged more than 2.9 in a season. Dave averaged 1.5 steals for his career. Duncan never averaged a full steal any season in his career I don’t think.

Duncan was definitely the better offensive player and and better defender late in Dave’s career but prime Admiral was an amazing and versatile defender.

If it wasn’t for Shaq and Kobe Duncan could of had 7 or 8 rings . Prime Duncan was unstoppable on both ends of the floor
I wouldn't call Duncan "unstoppable scorer". He was 20 & 11 player most of his career. Defensively he's something else though.
