Is Lebron really MVP worthy?

Yesterday, the ease at which Miami dispatched the Bulls despite their lockdown defense was kind of surprising. Lebron was out . Lebron is great. But is he an MVP? I can think of many more teams where if they lose their star player they literally would be the Bucks. That's not the case with the Heat though.

Does Lebron use the heat to mask all his flaws?

I never saw any thread asking this question.

Dog, this topic has been a coli/sohh staple ever since he joined the Heat. We get it, he is on a good team. But that nikka is still fukking monstrous breh. Best player in our generation. My Bulls are a run-down, exhausted team. They got us in every position except for Joakim. We are a terrible example.

:mjpls:WHAT ABOUT A FULL STRENGTH BLAZERS TEAM ON THE ROAD IN PORTLAND?
nikkaS ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT BUT HE LEADS THE TEAM IN REBOUNDS PTS AST ETC....
IF THAT nikka WASNT ON THE TEAM BOSH WOULD AVERAGE 20 & 10 EASILY.

THEY LET BRON GET HIS NUMBERS WHILE TAKING A BACKSEAT.

nikkaS FORGET BOSH PUT UP 24 & 11 BEFORE JOINING MIA.

Bosh is severely underrated when people discuss Miami.

Lebron is the kind of player that can turn any team into a playoff caliber team and turn any decent team into a conference finals team at the least.

Miami is a fairly flawed team that gets by on the fact that they have Lebron who is great in every aspect to feel the holes that are needed depending on the lineup.

Saying they let Bron get his numbers while they take a backseat is stupid. They let Bron get his numbers because he's the most versatile and best offensive option on the team. As good as Bosh is, Lebron will always be the safer bet.

Lebron turns a good but flawed Miami team into championship favorites. That's true impact.

I still remember Bosh shooting 1-17 against your Bulls 2 years ago. And 1 rebound if i'm not mistaken :lupe:

Look Bosh is a great player but like Riley told him to his face in their meeting when they were trying to lure him to Miami: HE is not a dominant nor MAX player.

He cant carry a Team on his back like Lebron and Wade can.

3 SEASONS AGO...
THEN HE DESTROYED US IN THE PLAYOFFS & WAS THE DIFFERENCE IN THAT SERIES.

HE CANT CARRY A BUM TEAM PAST THE 1ST ROUND & NEITHER COULD WADE,
BUT HE CAN CARRY THIS LOADED TEAM.

Wade carried the Heat on his back into the second round before we got Shaq remember? We lost to a deep Indiana with Jermaine ONeal in his prime. Took them 6 games to eliminate us.

The first year we had Shaq, he limped through the first round matchup and missed 3 of the 4 games in our second round matchup. We swept both rounds only o lose to the Pistons in 7 games in the conference finals

I SAID BUM TEAM...
WADE COULDNT LEAD BUM TEAMS PAST THE 1ST ROUND...
THE TEAMS YOU MENTIONED WERENT BUM TEAMS.

Wade led a team who's best players were:

  • Lamar Odom
  • Caron Butler - injured averaging 9 PPG on 38% FG shooting
  • Eddie Jones - injured half the year averaging 12 PPG on 42% FG shooting
  • Bryan Grant - limping through the year averaging 8 PPG and 6 RPG
  • Udonis Haslem - Undrafted rookie
Yup, that was our ALL NBA lineup. I dont know why we didnt make the Finals that yeah :comeon:

SO YOU SAYING THAT WAS A BUM TEAM?
EDDIE JONES STARTED 81 GAMES THAT YEAR
AND AVERAGED 17...
ODOM AVERAGED 17
WADE PLAYED 61 GAMES & AVERAGED 16
CARON AVERAGED 15 & 9 IN THAT HORNETS SERIES.
THAT TEAM SHOULD MAKE THE 2ND ROUND IN A WEAK EASTERN CONFERENCE
AND THEY DID.

NAH, THE 08,09 & 2010 HEATS WERE BUM TEAMS.

That was a bum team but you are right about Jones. Had the years confused. Caron didnt do shyt that year. He did nothing for us after his rookie season. But I remember the team could never win without Wade. I remember talking to my home boy Jesse that year and we were like "seems like they cant win without that rookie (Wade) and homeboy is always hurt. THey need to keep him and Odom and dump the other scrubs"

Then Wade terrorized the Pacers in the second round
