Definitely in Top 10. He is what got me into Hip Hop and I was a huge fan from '87-'95 and still enjoyed his music until the GOAT album which was his last good album imo.

top 20-50 for real. if i was 5 years older i'd probably have him a lot higher i just have never listened to him much. even though i've gone back and got into MC's like BDK & Kool Moe Dee i haven't got into LL as much. not sure why.

I got him at number one. Just the fact he was in Krush Groove with Kurtis Blow and Fat Boys, and I heard headsprung in a club last year. His hits are monsters. He has at least an album worth of smash hits that were also official in the streets.

AND the brother is undefeated in single combat against some ill rappers. Unlike these moist ass faqqots rapping today who are scared to battle, or who would try to shoot a niqqa instead.

I wouldn't know who to put in the next two spots of my list or in what order.

Eh, I want to put him top 10, but I just can't. He's battling for top 10, but to be honest, his work after 1990 was all over the place so that hurts his legacy a bit.

the fact that he was even relevant after 1990 alone, is enough to put him in the top 10.

and his legacy was already certified & cemented by that point. he didnt have to do anything else after that.

Why is that? There are tons of artists that were great in one decade and came back the next with mediocre returns.

what mediocre returns do you speak of? outside of maybe phenomenon, he didnt drop any mediocre albums until the '00s, after he announced his retirement. 14 shots & mr smith are met with mixed emotions, depending on who you ask. and i rarely hear somebody saying that goat was weak.

if his joints were truly mediocre like the other artists' joints, then he wouldve phased into oblivion right along with them.
