Y'all would like TO

You LA cats if can help then it be appreciated. I'd like to go to LA in 2-3 years and I seen an area called North Hollywood with spots for like 850 a month. How is the area? Middle class? Ghetto? How far from Hollywood itself (btw Hollywood Is considered Downtown right?)? Usual amenities like grocery, etc

Anything else you can help a brother with would be greatly appreciated. Weather must be amazing, t-shirt weather 24/7 right?

for a city its size, L.A has arguably the shttiest skyline of any big city

compare it to chicago or nyc... l.a skyline/downtown = :flabbynsick:

LA lucky it has good weather and nice beaches :pachaha:

I love LA. There is so much to do and different cities that actually surround LA that are fun also. Of course the partyin/clubbin in downtown LA/Hollywood is off the chain. But Santa Monica has some bad bytches, Ventura, Redondo Beach, Malibu, Manhanttan Beach, are all cool spots. The weather is amazin, I hit LA several times a year. But don't sleep on Daygo, Daygo is fun as well

unless you make serious money you will be no where near the hot spots. thats the problem with these cities because in those palm tree ridden streets and sunny skies money matters. if your in LA,Miami or San Deigo and are not wearing top end clothing driving a car worth more than 80k you will lose in every thing and thats a fact. these cities are filled with the most competition and the wealthiest of men with their choice of the pickings so if your some average dude dont think your going to a city like this and living it up thats just not gonna happen. unless your idea of living it up and fun in is actually living an hour from the city or more depending on traffic and only visiting the cool spots once a week to window shop that is

:leostare::leostare::leostare: you're talking a bunch of nonsense. The City of Angels being a broke just out of college individual, had me eating from the Valley all the way to the Inland Empire :noah::noah::noah::shaq:

North Hollywood is where a lot of younger people move to. The nicer areas are close to Ventura Blvd, but more expensive. Once you go north of Burbank Blvd, it gets more ghetto (Mexican). Hollywood (not downtown) is 10-15 mins away...downtown is 20-40 mins depending on traffic. The southern part of North Hollywood has the CAC grocery, shopping...the northern part is Mexican stores, grocery.

I wasn't disputing the distance and the whole different counties and such. But you can eat without being some rich dude out here.
