some of u nikkas suffer from mental illness. And it’s not crazy to prefer Lost Tapes over Illmatic. I know ALOT of people who will throw in Lost Tapes WAY faster than Illmatic.I mean Purple is probably a top 5 Nas track for me and U Gotta Love It is also classic, but. I'd say It Was Written is the better argument here.

I would imagine that album has a lot of baggage for all kinds of reasons.
It's one of my favorites but I can understand if that album may have some energy that's a little heavy and Nas seems to be really enjoying life right now.
