The planetary systems don’t give a shyt about these ancient religions, they just want a competent leader, and that’s what Sidious was.

That's the irony. Makes me believe that it was the will of the force that Anakin decimated both sides. They both were flawed institutions that manipulated the force to their will. That's what I agreed with Luke saying that it was time for the Jedi to end. They gave birth to the Sith, and pretty much every major conflict throughout the history of the galaxy was a result of them beefing behind the scenes.

But he was right luke being too emotion attach to his friends cause him to rush in to a fight with vader cause him to lose his hand. and anakin being too old was the fact that he fought against the shaolin-buddhist-monk type teaching of the jedi where you have to gave up your personal connecting it was anakin unwillingness to gave up his personal connecting with his mom and padme that cause him to turn to the dark side.yoda was a slick hater tho

In the novel ‘Darth Plagueis,’ (DOPE book, btw) at Qui Gon’s funeral, Sidious is heartbroken that Maul has died (they had developed a father-son relationship) and vows that ten thousand Jedi will join Qui Gon on the funeral pyre for Maul’s death
