The greatest quarterback of all time is Tom Brady, hands down. He was consistently great in the regular season, consistently great in the playoffs, with some of the greatest playoff moments a quarterback ever had.

That 28-3 comeback vs Atlanta was essentially his LeBron 3-1 comeback. Nobody in the history of the sport ever did this in the Super Bowl, nobody could, mf's have been down 25 in the Super Bowl before. Just like mf's have been down 3-1 in The Finals before.

He did this game 2 years AFTER the 4thQ comeback vs the Legion Of Boom, who I staunchly believe is the greatest defense of all time;

And after the 28-3 comeback, the very next year he had a 500 yard passing game in the Super Bowl loss to Philly, which was basically LeBron's G1 2018 performance.

These are just 3 historically great Super Bowl performances, and quite arguably the 3 greatest SB performances ever. Certainly 28-3 is #1, there's never been anything like that. But aside from these games, there's a list of Playoff Brady games I can point to as historically significant.

The combination of a long prime + historic peak + consistent regular season greatness + consistent raising the bar in the playoffs + some of the greatest postseason games ever, =Tom Brady is the GOAT.

Manning has those first 3 points, but not the last two. That's why he isn't the GOAT. His year over year regular season dominance eclipses everybody, including Brady. There have been a lot of dominant quarterbacks, and Brady's ability to control the game when in disadvantageous situations, vs elite defenses, are his unique superpower.

Manning's, was being the greatest computer under center ever. Mf was a computer.
Best QB = Brady

Best RB = based on the criteria just used for Brady....it should be Emmitt Smith. Long prime, elite stats, big time performer in big games. We judge QBs by what they do but judge RBs by how physically talented they were.

Best WR = most would say Rice overall with honorable mentions for guys like Moss. We judge WR by what they actually did mostly.

Please don't compare a 7x SB winner to a deck stacker like LeeBronze

Brady had a competitor's mentality & went to war with whoever was there

As much as I hate to admit it, It's Brady for me.

I've see that man pull teams to rings damn near by himself. Stats and all that are one thing but Brady had the sheer force of will to WIN. And that's what makes him the GOAT.

With that said, there's the NFL pre and post Peyton Manning. I don't think people realize the impact he had on the game. It's Jordan like. He could go out there, read a defense in 2 seconds and reshape the entire play instantaneously and STILL make the throw through a pinhole. He doesn't have the rings to FULLY say he's the GOAT

But in terms of how the position is played and what I'd want in the "perfect" quarterback. Peyton has like 90% of the traits you'd want.

Tom beats Patty in the AFCCG & SB but y'all still think Patty is better

:mjlol:

They’ve played each other 6 times and are 3-3.

Patrick Mahomes: 109 of 162 passing (67.2%) for 1,346 yards and 11 touchdowns to four interceptions | 16 rushes for 77 yards (4.8 yards per attempt)

Tom Brady: 109 of 164 passing (66.4%) for 1,239 yards and eight touchdowns to three interceptions | six rushes for 21 yards (3.5 yards per attempt) and one touchdown

Postseason (two meetings):

Patrick Mahomes:
42 of 80 passing (52.5%) for 565 yards and three touchdowns to two interceptions | seven rushes for 44 yards (6.3 yards per attempt)

Tom Brady: 51 of 75 passing (68%) for 549 yards and four touchdowns to two interceptions | five rushes for minus-3 yards (-0.6 yards per attempt)

You’re forgetting about Dee Ford and the cripple o line huh :what: We’re gonna act like the Bucs players wasn’t amazed at how Pat was still trying to getting shyt off with a toilet tissue o line.

Anyways Tom is 1 Patrick 2 Montana is 3

Peyton DESERVED to be carried to be defenses in the post season because he had trash defenses most of his career. And if Aaron is as great as you nikkas try to make him out to be he shouldn't have needed all these first rounders. Peyton had 3 great receivers his career so don't sit there and act like everyone he threw to were hall of famers. Stop trying to make excuses for Aaron. Its been 13 fukking years. It's never taken Peyton that much time to reach ANY of his superbowls. Kids have started kindergarten and now have GRADUATED high school since Aaron has been to his last SB. No way in HELL is Peyton a bigger choker than Aaron.

You're trying to have it both ways with this argument you're using for Aaron and that is not how it works. Either he's really that great or he is not. And clearly, he is NOT.

Neither Peyton or Rodgers should be called playoff chokers
