Price is underrated but her true fans know how good he was. And while he was very good he wasn't on the level of Stockton Magic and KJ so that's probably why he gets overlooked by the casual fan.

I was thinking of doing a steve nash/mark price thread but I think nash is better to be honest

played longer, won mvp awards and shyt, just a good if not better shooter in his prime than mark price was and of course also a great passer

I think a fairer comparison would've been john stockton because neither won a title or league mvp

Nash had the better career, but if you used strictly the eye test nash was better offensively by a pinch and price was the better defender (by a lot).

Nash winning MVP's has more to do with the circumstances involved then him being deserving although i believe he had a legit argument to win both.

You put nash in the NBA in 85 and i guarantee you he has 0 MVP's

That's true, but what pg from this era would? these pgs nowadays cant play d, they're all shooters for the most part, I would love to see magic in his prime just go to work on some of these so called elite guards today
