Yeah. There is a black Boston accent, or was one once upon a time. I know I would hear it back in the 80s/90s. It's similar to the overall old head east coast accent, but with pahk and cahh mixed in. I think regional accents are going to be a thing of the past soon.
I don't know what happened to me, but now I pronounce it Medfahd and Summahville I'll never break and say Hahvid though.

i’m speaking from experience. i have only heard that accent from black people located in roxbury/dorchester/mattapan.

that isn’t to imply that the majority of black people in those areas speak with that accent, in case that’s what you thought i was implying. i rarely hear it from ANY black people around here, but the few ones from whom i’ve heard it are in those areas.
