The biggest thing Max B will ever be associated with is “We Fly High” and he wasn’t even credited so there’s no reason he’d ever be a household name.

They just gotta understand going to prison killed his momentum. Plus he ain't really go for a solid reason like Schmurder did for not snitching. Outside of die hard max B fans his spot in the game has been taken over by a slew of new rappers.

Figure out all the nikkax who claimed they love him and lock in for a tape

Call Druski to act goofy on Could’ve Been Love

People love you in jail for the spectacle

Pre-jail he wasn't a household name. The LOAL helped though when he was locked up. Just saying :hubie:

He's a household now in the hip-hop world. The latest PD got mixed reactions (I loved it though), but Coke Wave 3.5 was fire, and I think most people would agree with that.

French held him down real well. Without French's continued support when he was in prison, Max wouldn't be where he is today. French is loyal as fukk. Max kinda put French on back in the day, and now French is putting Max B on today. It's wavy to see

As a fan of NY rap that doesn't live in the tri-state area, absolutely not lol.

I knew who he was, but I was a Dipset fan.
People where I'm from didn't even know who Dipset was until Ballin came out.

You had to be tuned into a specific type of hip-hop for a short period of time in the 2000's to know who he was.

You definitely see the influence he had on artists but you also see the lore built up around him ever since he was incarcerated like with all rappers that go to prison.

Not to take away from his influence in the game but Prison definitely helped the lore.

nikkas love saying "free so and so" lol.
Diplomatic Immunity came out 2003.

Ballin came out in 2006.

You trying to tell me that where you lived people did not know about Dip Set for 3 years..?

:dahell:

I can forgive them if they didn't know them before Diplomatic Immunity... but what..?

Your user name @Mandarin Duck so you might be Chinese.. but STILL.. there's no excuse for this.

I knew of him from the Coli. But surprisingly, I seen dudes from Savannah on Facebook talking about how they used to watch his DVDs(?) and how influential he was. They are round my age too. But as a girl growing up down south, I didn’t know who dude was. I was never deep in the rap streets to watch videos of rap nikkas flapping their gums and getting their phony on.
