Let's see them treat him like a "make a with foundation" kid this year to get to 1,000 yards. nikkas felt sorry for his ass on defense :deadrose:

Cac talking low like he's talking all low and somber on some pity shyt

Some quality posting by you. Anyone who think Mike Evans should be in the HOF is certifiably insane. There is no legitimate argument I can see for him being in besides people using some arbitrary metric of 1,000 receiving yards being some amazing milestone.

1. He's top 10 in receiving TD's. the only player ahead of him, not in is Davante Adams. The 3 players right behind him are in the HOF and the 4th player behind him not in is Gronk.
2. Then it's yards per catch. 15.1 for his career. Most WR's cant do that for a single season in this era.
3. You can't down play getting 1000 yards every year for the first 11 straight seasons. Especially since he missed games during some of those seasons.
4. He has a super bowl ring.
Basically, he wasn't a dink and dunk receiver. He was dominant. And he did it playing without a pro bowl QB for most of his career. And he as consistent.

Your argument pretty much comes down to he was very good for a long period of time. I don't think that is HOF worthy.

And, yes, 1,000 receiving yards is not THAT impressive. You have 20+ players doing it every season. He's done it for 11 straight seasons like you said which is great, but 1,000 receiving yards is not some incredible metric. Why don't we up the yardage for 1,300 yards? What does it look like then? You know, yardage numbers that actually show you're elite.

I think he's in the Hall of Very Good. I would have loved to see him on the Patriots in his prime, but I just don't see how people really think he's a HOF player. I wouldn't want the Pro Football Hall of Fame to become like the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame where pretty much everyone gets in.

He’s averaged 84 - 1267 - 10 every year :mjlol:

Averaging 15 per catch in a season use to be considered elite..he’s averaged that over his entire career.

I ignore him. He’s legit mad about this. He’s going and it’s nothing he can do about it.

Mad? :mjlol: .

No, just educating people with minimal brain capacity such as yourself.:yeshrug:.

Edit: There is no legitimate argument other than the arbitrary 1,000 yard milestone to make for Mike Evan’s being a HOF player. That is a fact.

2 second team all-pro seasons, 6 pro bowls, and a Super Bowl ring. 2 more 1,000 yard seasons and he’s top 10 in career yards.

Those 11 consecutive 1000 yard seasons tie an NFL record with none other than Jerry Rice.

However, some folks believe he is unworthy of being an HOFer. :snoop:
