Thank you breh.
I know the prices are ridiculous but if you’ve had 18 years to get your shyt together theres no way you can be 35 and not even have savings
Might have to apply for housing or just go off to uni and face the debt
I cant rent it from her because I cant offer the amount of money they do. They have proper full time jobs whilst I just have a shytty part time one.
33 and 35 does sound too old, however the high rents also affect people at that age too. But i agree that they should have set up something for themselves over a decade ago so that they would have enough to live on by now.
Applying for council housing may sound like a waste of time these days but if you're eligible, I'd say you should atleast apply so that if things get worse, you may have that to fall back on. Infact by their criteria, you're technically 'overcrowded' and may have better luck then some.
A part-time job is fine really, some income is better than no income. If you get that maintenance loan for uni, then definitely learn to budget and dont blow your money like a lot of uni dumbasses always do. Dont worry about debt, you wont have to pay it back right away anyway, unless you're earning a lot.
Its just life, whoever earns the most gets more privileges, which is why they're getting priority over you. Dont give up though.
