I've pondered this thought for awhile and I see there is a UK organization about this matter.
I saw Asperger's get mentioned as well.
This would also explain his fan-base
:jbhmm:
  • Talk a lot, usually about a favorite subject. One-sided conversations are common. Internal thoughts are often verbalized.
  • Avoid eye contact or stare at others.
  • Have unusual facial expressions or postures.
  • Be preoccupied with only one or few interests, which he or she may be very knowledgeable about. Many children with Asperger's syndrome are overly interested in parts of a whole or in unusual activities. They may show an unusual interest in certain topics such as snakes, names of stars, or dinosaurs.
  • Dislike any changes in routines.
  • Appear to lack empathy
  • Be unable to recognize subtle differences in speech tone, pitch, and accent that alter the meaning of others' speech. So your child may not understand a joke or may take a sarcastic comment literally. And his or her speech may be flat and hard to understand because it lacks tone, pitch, and accent.

Watching this interview made me wonder :jbhmm:

I've had friends play Illmatic in the car even if people in the back fell asleep
People with Asperger's syndrome may:
Not pick up on social cues and may lack inborn social skills, such as being able to read others' body language, start or maintain a conversation, and take turns talking.

:ohhh:

Love
  • Very little or no eye contact. :ahh:
  • Resistance to being held or touched.
    qzez46jpg.gif
  • Tends to get too close when speaking to someone (lack of personal space).
  • Responds to social interactions, but does not initiate them > "Ether" was a response to "Takeover"
  • Difficulty understanding jokes, figures of speech or sarcasm. - Nas is not humorous
  • Difficulty reading facial expressions and body language.
  • Difficulty understanding the rules of conversation. - "I ran like a Cheetah"
  • Difficulty understanding group interactions. The Firm album wasn't good
  • Aversion to answering questions about themselves. What do we know about Nas? :lupe:
  • Gives spontaneous comments which seem to have no connection to the current conversation. "That buck that bought the bottle coulda struck the Lotto" < encourages gambling over personal enjoyment
  • Makes honest, but inappropriate observations. Said Jay Z has "dikk sucking lips"
  • Seems unable to understand another’s feelings.
  • Prefers to be alone, aloof or overly-friendly.
  • Difficulty maintaining friendships.
  • Finds it easier to socialize with people that are older or younger, rather than peers of their own age.
  • Unaware of/disinterested in what is going on around them.
  • Talks excessively about one or two topics (dinosaurs, movies, etc.).
  • Overly trusting or unable to read the motives behinds peoples’ actions.
  • Minimal acknowledgement of others.
