Bro. This nikka Eminem had a Santa Clause, Reindeer and Christmas pun. shyt was some of the worst shyt I ever heard in my life. Lol. If he shortened that verse and left off the corny shyt it would’ve been dope. Nas just floated on it.
Yeah, the punchlines...he references extremely corny shyt. I ain't defending that, lol, he been ass with the punching

The thing is, with that verse, it's one of them occasions where on top of the obviously insane rhyming display, he was actually saying something with it. Trust me, I hate the "rhyming crazy but saying a bunch of nothing" style, that was one of my problems with Banks, and even Royce to an extent. I thought Eminem was actually saying some shyt, if you take the time to listen thru all the rhyming tricks. The punchlines tho, as usual, were corny

Nas said blood like sauce in spaghetti G's, lol, now THATS some shyt we was sayin in 9th grade. That's my guy tho.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Mach and Conway are not better lyricists than Nas.

Conway needs to learn how to be a better song writer or he won't even be in the conversation a few years from now.
Imma put it like this. They aren’t better artists than Nas. But they def barring nikkas to death more than Nas even tries to at this point. It’s not a knock on Nas. Cause I’m pretty sure Nas can jump in that bag if he wants to and has shown he can even on this album. But the aim is different with them vs him.

Now post the completely horrible bars Eminem spit on that song. Since u only seem to be one sided when it comes to any of this shyt involving Nas. No one hyped them bars u posted. And the pun was still better than what Em was spittin. Conway spit that pun and u squinting your face up. Be real.

I think hes at least top 10 currently

Benny, Conway, Rapsody, Lupe, Black Thought, Cole, Tyler, Mach, Drake to a certain extent Jada/Styles, Jay, Royce, Gibbs are also all in the mix

Even if you think he's not rapping like his prime hes still rapping good enough with the albums and songs being exceptional to put him there

:hubie: Man I don't even agree with that. They don't have better lyrical performances this year than joints like Store Run and Moments. Even conceptually they can't fukk with songs like Nobody. Storytelling, they're not fukking with Death Row East. If this was anyone other than Nas then I don't even think we're having this conversation because the bar is just different for Nas.

If you would have said this last year then I probably would've agreed with the artist vs barring out thing. But on KD2 Nas is doing both.
