Life is Good was a great CD. Cherry Wine, A Queens Story, Accident Murderers, You Wouldn't Understand, Back When, The Don, Roses all great tracks. I'd say it's better top to bottom than
I Am but
I Am has higher highs.
Illmatic: 5 out of 5
It Was Written: 4.5 out of 5
I Am: 4 out of 5
Nastradamus: 2.5 out of 5
Stillmatic: 4 out of 5
The Lost Tapes: 4.5 out of 5
God's Son: 4 out of 5
Street's Disciple: 2.5 out of 5 (disappointed me, never spin this album dope ass cover though)
Hip Hop is Dead: 3.5 out of 5
Untitled: 3.5 out of 5
Life is Good: 4 out of 5
God's Son got more than 4 good tracks, you shytted on it breh it's usually thought of as one of his best works and a lot of users on this board have it as their favorite Nas album period.
I'd say Get Down, Made You Look, Last Real Nikka Alive, Revolutionary Warfare, Mastermind, Hey Nas, Book of Rhymes, Dance, Heaven were all great tracks.
I Can is either hated or loved, I thought the Beethoven sample was dope and I had to rap along to that song at my 8th Grade Graduation.
I never liked Thugz Mansion, Warrior Song is weak, The Cross was dope lyrically the Eminem beat kinda lowered the track though. Some feel Hey Nas is generic but I liked the track. Overall, it's a dope album without doubt.
God's Son is his most personal work talks about his mother's death, the whole KoNY thing and ends the Jay feud putting the nail in the coffin with Last Real Nikka Alive, talks religion, Book of Rhymes one of the dope concept songs in recent memory, street stories, etc. I'd recommend you revisit it.
Is Salaam Remi's production a reason why you dislike the album? I noticed people either like him or hate him.
