Ain't no shots licking out in broad day light. I know the incident that took place on Madison but that's not the usual. You might hear a murder happen once a year on that side. All those projects are going to be co-ops in 10 years.

I do feel that NYC is too important of a city to have 2, 000 homicides annually to begin with. A city that's as dense as NYC is and knowing that its a city has appeal which has many people that want to move there, it makes sense why its super expensive now.

I came back a few months back and they had done all this new construction and opened all these artisinal cafes. All that stuff off the FDR is gone in 5 years.

I was born in the 90s slime , and there was NEVER no problem with beads. Or maybe it was jus going over my head. I dont even recall gangs being a issue in NY until the early 2000s

i feel you...im just letting you know...its nothing new...it goes back to the prisons in the 80's....guess it depends were you hung at or grew up at. grow up in gang controlled neighborhoods you're more likely to have seen this.

The only time I really saw gangs around my way was when blooding and cripping became popular in the 2000s. The thing that was big in my hood were drug dealers and crews. I was never hip to anything else.

I would assumed NYCs rapidly declining crime rate would be an accomplishment more so than a lost

Thing is, blacks are getting priced out of NYC, if the city was able to drop the crime rate without the high rents, then it would be

But cacs are basically giving black NYers the treatment and the hoods upstate and down south have their fair share of crime as well

Last time I was in BK cops had Flatbush on martial order but you can catch it anywhere in NYC to tell you the truth
Only safe haven is really mid town manhattan and 7:30 bums be spazzing out down there from time to time as well
Cops are the only gang runnin shyt in nyc

Lower Manhattan is an even safer haven, one of my least favorite areas in the city though, except for on East Side around where the BK Bridge is at.
