Look I’m not at my computer rn I’m mobile but I can provide facts. Either prove your shyt or get the fukk out my face. You lying egregious piece of shyt. You not gonna tell me shyt as an Igbo man I been studying the diasporan since god knows how long please :camby: and I’ve dropped videos
Well if you're fukking mobile, take your dumbass to the fukking library. Its pathetic i have to argue about morons who claim they know shyt about african history but are fukking clueless.

Its believed Nigerians represent about 20-30% of haitians, especially the igbos since THEY WERE SOME OF THE MAIN VICTIMS OF THE SLAVE TRADE, courtesy of Hausa and Yoruba slave traders.

One of the first kings of independent haiti as of igbo descent, Christopher Henri

When Biafra was declared, Haiti president at the time Duvalier was one of the first to recognize Biafra's independance
https://usafricaonline.com/2010/01/16/haiti-igbo-biafra-duvalier-1969/

This occured because of the long standing kinship haiti has with the igbo people, given our historical links

Here are stats of an independent study on acestry DNA analyzed from a group of hatians. Largest groups represented are congo, nigeria, and benin.

We know the nigerian contigent are likely igbos due to igbos being the primary tribe stolen and shipped to the americas.

So in short you a fukking idiot. Igbo ancestry in Haiti is no fukking secret, as many of the voodo practices in haiti have igbo origins, as well as many words in the language. You clearly need to stop watching youtube videos for your education and go read a book. And i know your simple ass likely won't ready anything because ignorance is your happy place, but hopefully someone else reading may also learn a thing or to.

And hold this neg for making me type all this shyt for your dumbass.

Hatians are most igbo descendants so this isn't surprising

Where do you get that information from? I am pretty sure that most Haitians are probably from Togo and Benin, which is why Voodoo prevailed in Haiti. Now Haiti has a lot of roots in the Yoruba and Kongo people too, but they are definitely strongly from the Ewe, Fon, Ga and Yoruba in Togo and Benin. So Haitian's have more than a passing connection to Dahomey.

No. Haiti's have a large percentage of Congo, Benin, Malaian, Cameroonian, and a few others.

Igbo's people influence and presence in haiti is well known. Please look at my above links for more information.

Shocked this information is a surprise to people that claim to be well versed in african history

When you state Nigerian you mean Yoruba. Everybody knows that the Yoruba people were a major group of people taken to Haiti. The other major groups were the Ga, Ewe and Fon people. That was literally Dahomey, which was the epicenter of major conflict of major warfare between the Yoruba Kingdoms and the King of Dahomey.

I don't know how many Igbo were taken to Haiti, but I am pretty sure that it was no where near the number of Yoruba, Fon, Ewe and Ga people taken to Haiti. That is is literally the land of Voodoo and Haitians brought those practices with them from the old land. That brings up another point. You can tell with fairly good certainty where large groups of ancestors of Africans in the diaspora are from based upon stuff like religion and music.

I am shocked that you actually think that people in the diaspora don't know where their ancestors are from. Their ancestors left huge cultural clues. No one is saying that there were not Igbo people in Haiti, because Igbo nikkas were selling each other like hotcakes. However, you might want to read about the collapse of the Yoruba people empire to understand who populated Haiti.

Aro confederacy and Oyo empire were the biggest slave traders in the Nigeria area, and they were trading their own. No Hausa kingdom was a major player in the transatlantic slave trade because they don't live close to coastal areas. Most of the slaves were based locally. Hausas and Yorubas had no contact with Igbos prior to British colonization.
