Yea, I never really looked at as an album that told a story in sequence because it doesn't necessarily do that. You can place most the songs on Cuban Linx on a Wu group album and it wouldn't be that out of place. You can't place "Sherane" off GKMC and place it on a Black Hippy project without it kind of being out of place.

GOAT album to me. I thought so a few years after I first heard it and I still feel so today. Hip Hop at it's zenith. Beats, rhymes, legendary MCs, GOAT group, Nas spits one of his greatest verses on a feature, legendary skits...

Hasn't come out yea, breh. They were trying to get proper funds for it but I'm not sure of the status of the funding or the production of it. Wouldn't be surprised if it never sees the light of day...like a lot of other projects Wu promised.

Lol. Definitely. The little trailer they did for it looked well put together and interesting. I still have a lil hope that it'll drop if Rae and Ghost actually drop Cuban Linx 3. They both talked recently about being in the studio working on it. Maybe the documentary can be a companion piece. At this point tho I'm more looking forward to Supreme Clientele 2, which Ghost claims is damn near complete (he said he was waiting for sample clearances and a few guest features).

I dont think Liquid Swords 2 will ever come out and I hope it doesnt. Both RZA and GZA are waaaaaaay past that mental at this point. Now Dark Matter needs to drop asap. If done correctly that will be a huge landmark for grown, mature Hip Hop music.
