Is Perry Jones the most disappointing prospect in the last 10 years?

It was evident in college what type of player he was going to be.

He played with zero intensity and he was content being a role player, he never wanted to be "the man" or take over a game. I remember saying back then if he had Quincy Acy's desire to win he'd be a superstar. There were so many time where it looked like he was just happy to be out there instead of striving to be the best player on the floor.

:francis: Yeah it's over for this dikkhead.

He's still young, he just needs to accept that he's gotta grind in the D-League in order to come back. He's got a lot of skills NBA teams covet.

Anthony Randolph is a similar player who might be able to make it back soon, he's played incredibly well in Europe for the last two years:

:francis: He has everything it takes to be a star, except desire

Good pull.

Magic Randolph is what the Warriors fans called him back in the day, he's another one that could have been special, he actually put up some big numbers too. He got really unlucky to be honest, his best position was center, but that was right before teams really had the vision they have now. Just a few years later and someone is using him properly.

Hopefully he's improved on defense, I just remember dude looked so lost out there when he was on the Knicks (then again it was the D'Antoni Knicks :scust:). If Patrick Patterson and Channing Frye can make it as guys that just run the floor and hit 3s, then he deserves a shot too IMO.

Who would've thought that from that Baylor team Quincy Acy would last longer in the NBA than Perry Jones & Quincy Miller :mjlol:

Outside of Tweety Carter, nobody that's stepped foot through the Baylor Basketball program in the last 10 years had more heart than Acy. He wasn't the most skilled guy, but he was by the far the most important player on those Baylor squads. Perry and Quincy Miller both came across as guys that played because the could, not because they loved to.

He constantly had games where he would play 15 minutes & you wouldn't really notice anything until you see the boxscore & realise he didn't do shyt in those 15 minutes. Straight 0s across the board:why:

Last year when everybody was hurt he had a few good game. He had that one 30 point game against the Clippers. Once people started coming back he got passive again & eventually bumped knees with somebody & that was pretty much the end of PJ3.
