I know Rakim and KRS are legends, but I've been bumping E40 since Carlos Rossi dropped and that was like 1993 and the fact that he still dropping albums and got the young cats fukking with him is pretty remarkable and shows that he's a lil more revelant in 2019.... My son knows E40 and still remembers "Tell me when to go" I can't say he can recalls a Rakim or KRS song like that
At no point in the 1990s was E-40 considered more historically important for hip hop than Rakim or KRS One.

I'd be pushing the narrative if he was still having an impact on the culture and influence on the youth. I used Spice 1 as an example because he's still lingering but nobody under 35 fukks with him therefore he's irrelevant.
