1. Fraud or genius?
2. He did what rappers do name wise. He adopted the name of a certain energy he wanted to capture.
3. None of the rappers before these new idiots were really doing what they rapped about to that level.
4. Being a CO doesn't negate selling illegal substances, I know from experience. Dope goes for 5 to 10x more in prison. He could've made alotta money feeding inmates.

Most disappointing is that once you get a certain age...you don't even see these rappers as "frauds"...it's not even worth discussing because you should be wise enough to understand 99% of rappers are lying. BUT most importantly if they aren't lying they are extinction level stupid for confessing real crimes!

I've been a CO and actual cop...and REALLY sold drugs.

****If you're selling illegal substance in the 21st century, somewhere along your upper chain is a cop****

I've been thinking about this for awhile I can't really think of anyone else who is as much of a fraud as Ross is and made it to the heights that he has:patrice: It's very interesting to me now that I think about it. He really is the real life MC Gusto:mjlol:took another man's entire personality and has been acting for 15+ years now lol

And like I always say Ross is like a real life cartoon lol. He is ALWAYS in character like he's some kind of professional wrestler. When he does interviews I don't know how people don't just laugh out loud hahaha

So with that said can anyone name any other person who has a more successful fraud????

*I like Ross' music but facts are facts dude is a 100% fraud who nobody with any sense takes seriously :russ:

PREACH OP. It burned me to the core (his ascension). Outside of him signing Meek at the time, I could've cared less for Ross. I was perplexed when he made it out of, being exposed as an ex-CO. Fif should've put the nail in his coffin wit that one. I couldn't understand, how he made it out of that situation unscathed. That's when I knew (similar to the ascension of Ye), that the rap game, I knew/came up on, was something different, and changed (in some perverse way). The gay shyt of today/emo rap/"fiend culture", being other examples.:scust:

You forgot Drake.

The music industry falls under the umbrella of the entertainment industry, which also includes film and television. As a child actor, Drake has been in this industry nearly his whole life. He's more of an "industry vet" than 99% of the people mentioned as being "authentic." Music doesn't need commercial validation to be music; it simply needs an audience. The marketing, development and distribution of music through crafted persona is what makes it a profitable endeavor. What makes that disingenuous on Drake's end?

This entire thread goes by abd no one mentions Lil Wayne's self-hating, strange, pump-faking ass...

Rozay was a d-boy, he just exaggerated his involvement as most rappers do. But he sold coke for awhile...

Pusha T who most yall nikkas love is the exact same, he just didn't name himself after anyone. Sold coke successfully but wasn't near the level he states he was...

Most of these dudes aren't like that, not even the new youngins. Lotta these dudes claiming hits they aren't involved with and dudes always exaggerate how much work they touched...

Nwa
Notorious Big
Nas
Mob deep

Most great rappers are great actors

Eazy was really that but đź’Ż on the other nikkas you mentioned...

Lil wayne is a great answer. Him taking out that red rag during that interview was one of the corniest, most embarrassing moments in hip hop history lol

Nothing changed, Ross did what Ja failed to do, entertain and rap his way out of it. :pachaha:

Now I'm in the suites and I'm eatin' crab meats" :ohlawd:

the kingpin rappers to me are not frauds because they don’t make music that is believable.
