I wanna know what was the meeting like when they decided to trade for dumb ass Westbrook. Did anyone dare to tell Bron that this won't be a good idea? They needed more defense, more playmaking and more elite three point shooting. Russ brings none of that.

Crazy how that they nixed those Buddy Hield and DeRozan deals, because that would've helped their playmaking and 3 point shooting woes (DeRozan finally learned to shoot 3s and is shooting at 35% now)

But it doesn't work, because LeBron a) is never going to be a consistently great off ball player since he isn't a shooter, and b) he doesn't run around and get open

So LeBron will just end up playing Bron Ball like he does every year

Plus Westbrook stinks.

His playstyle and flaws make it difficult to build around him without engineering high risk high reward trades

Here's the fact: if another star player had Anthony Davis, Buddy Hield, etc. And other good veteran free agents, we'd expect them to get it done.
