Outside of those couple of yrs on Miami....I don't see the knock on him....he was a top 5 defensive player in the NBA for awhile, then you add his other accolades and and a championship he's def a HOF

Marion hasnt had a better career than Jamison.

His lane is filled with guys Luol Deng, Caron Butler, richard jeffeson,

Jamision has had a better career than all of them and i never thought he should get in.

Anyway as much as Marion is somewhat underrated, I can't see him getting in...good career, good numbers and good defense but when has he ever been "the man" or even decisive?

Melo has been one of the best scorers in the league for close to a decade. MVSteve had about a 4 year run as a top 10 player that begun when he was already 30.

Melos achieved nothing in his whole career which is what 9 or 10 years deep so far? So being a scorer whose been out of the first round one time outweighs a back to back MVP whose been to the conf finals 4 times..
