I would agree with that. Most people are dealing with things at this point in the season. Just saying that Curry actually having to miss a handful of games because of an injury suffered in the middle of the playoffs gives reason to believe he's significantly hampered by something. Responses would probably be different if he never slipped & did a split on the court or never had that non contact ankle injury.

I don't think Curry or Warriors thought they would cruise to another championship. Yeah its hard, yeah they have to play better or else they'll get bounced soon.
It deosn't matter.

NO other superstar would get this kind of Narrative created for them.

If LeBron or Kobe was playing as bad as Steph right now, about to be eliminated after a historic season they would be getting KILLED. Nobody would be talking about injuries.

If it was KD and Durant about to lose they would be saying KD should leave cause He'll never win with Westbrook.
Nobody would be talking about injuries.

He's fine. When he went off Game 2, I did not hear anything about his injury, just him giving a cold stare to Ibaka.:stopitslime:
Now after playing Casper yesterday, he might not be 100%:mjlol:and he played 39 mins. Just kill that noise already:beli:
If you are injured, don't play.:martin:

How is it a created narrative? He actually got hurt....I guarantee you if any of those players had to actually miss games in the middle of the playoffs with injury, came back and were inconsistent they would get the same treatment. It's flat out stupid not to at least consider and talk about injury.

Curry IS getting killed. YOU guys are killing him and a lot of other fans too. Who cares about the media they're fickle as fukk its only a matter of time until they turn on Golden State as they always do, the fans out number them and they as a whole are extremely critical of Curry and that team.

No he's not overrated. No one called him the best player in the league except bi-polar fair weather basketball fans. A healthy Steph Curry is a top 5 basketball player; it's not debate-able. The Warriors against OKC is one superstar versus two.

No one thinks Draymond Green is a top 10 player in the NBA expect Warrior fans. Green wouldn't even be a starter on half of the teams in the NBA.

that's an exaggeration, im Team THunder all day, but half the league had losing records......Green would still start in a lot of places off effort alone. I don't consider him a top 10 player though, but he would start on a lot of teams, how effective he would be outside of the Warriors system, is another question

I don't think Curry is overrated. It's actually scary to think how much better he would be if he hadn't battled injuries half of his career. I think it's his teammates that are overrated, not Curry himself. Contrary to popular belief, he is the only superstar on that team.

The problem is they are going up against a team with two MVP caliber players on it. Hell, you could even argue two top 5 players. It's essentially one superstar versus two.
Curry has Klay Thompson (warriors best player so far this playoffs) as well as Draymond Green:comeon:....excuses, excuses:russell:

Green would be a bench player if not for landing on the Warriors roster. Talent wise Green is merely a role player.
I don't know about him being a bench player, in this weak league, he would still start on a lot of teams. But I agree , talent wise, he aint really special. He play his role but I wouldn't build a team around him like that.
