Is Steph Curry on his way to passing up Zeke & Stockton & being the 2nd best PG after Magic?

And exactly how did you come to this conclusion? :leostare:
:comeon: because Zeke sacrificed point average for the betterment of the team, when he decided to bust your ass/or was needed to score he couldn't be stopped by anyone. You couldn't get more clutch than Zeke. I've seen this live as a Detroit resident :manny:. If it wasn't for that damn Achilles injury he would've averaged 20 and 10 for his career/and finished over 10,000 assist.

He isn't 1/2 the defender that Stockton was ...

He isn't 1/2 the passer Magic was...

He needs to get another ring before he's in the same class as Zeke...

His assist to turnover ration was horrible in The Finals, but "Chicks dig the long ball" :skip:

If being a great PG has evolved into "n1gga that makes a gang of 3's" then he should be #1 on everybody's list...
It's called double teaming

This microwave generation is really something else. One MVP season and he's better than 2 of the 3 best PGs to ever play this game? Funny, you can argue that his season last year was better than this. Let's not jump ahead of things. Let his time come. He's a great shooter and maybe the best shooter out of all of the other PGs but that's where it stops. I know some of y'all are fascinated by his NBA Jam game, but hold up.

I don't know too many all-time great PGs that would let a 2nd string bottle them up by being physical. He was completely taken out of his game. I don't trust him running an offense. More than anything, that's what you want your PG to do. He was making rookie mistakes with the ball. Also, he flourished more when they took the ball out of his hands and let him play off of it. He's been in the league 6 years and averaged >7apg, 2x? Steph was at 8+ after his rookie year...and for the record he was CRUCIFIED for being a scoring PG and he took care of the ball better than a lot of folks.

Let him put it together before you can say he's better than Kidd, GP....hell KJ & Timmy. Funny though, Billups has a Finals MVP and he's ranked about where he should be. B Diddy is probably the most gifted PG I've ever seen play, and he's not ranked at all.

Handles?

You rolling with that over Steph? :usure:

And how is he a better scorer when basically all of his percentages were lower then Steph's, AND Steph averaged more points with less shots.

I'll give Isiah the nod for now, but you were embellishing a bit.

:camby: im convinced you've never seen Zeke play, at least pull up the 86 all star game (:wow:) if your trying to go that route

you're trying to say Zeke didn't have handles?:mjlol:

That still doesn't explain why he's a better scorer than Curry.

Admittedly I've only seen classic games and highlights (that was before my time), and in my opinion the evolution of ball handling began with guys like him. But c'mon man.......

Zeke would've had a better finals performance than (and has ) than curry did this run. But I'll give him the nod over Stockton cuz dude never won, he prolly already wishes he had currys career.

What about the rest of the playoffs? We just gonna ignore that Curry was the #1 scorer for 75% of the postseason?

In the end people remember how you played at winning time.
Congrats to iggy.
Besides zeke great the entire post season as well, several times. He just continued it into finals which is why he has more rings and finals Mvps. But I mostly remember him setting the record for most points in a quarter during the nba finals. Dude was dominant. No one who saw that would ever compare currys performance

Yes. We're also gonna ignore that he sacrificed his stats in the Finals by constantly drawing double teams and letting the rest of his team play 4-on-3.

Let's ignore that Curry broke open the most important game of the Finals (5) and put the Warriors on his back, as well.

Basically, he's Lindsey Hunter with a green light and worse defense.

You'd be crazy not to take Curry if him, Isiah Thomas, John Stockton and everybody else besides Magic were there to draft.

If Steph and Magic were there to be taken and you need a pg you're choosing between:

The goat passer vs the goat shooter.

Can't go wrong with either. That being said, yup Curry and Magic are 1a and 1b.
:mjlol:

Put Isaiah on the court where the defense couldn't touch him and it would be silly the numbers he could put up.

He may, or may not I don't know. I'm no trying to downplay Isiah Thomas, I'm sure dude can ball today. Very shifty, quick and explosive cat at 6'0.

But what I do know is Curry has pulled off shyt that we haven't seen before while breaking records and at 6'3" is a big pg.
