Is Steph Curry on his way to passing up Zeke & Stockton & being the 2nd best PG after Magic?

We knock CP3 for it :yeshrug: Why shouldn't he get knocked?
CP3 actually takes too many shots for my taste.

Especially in the 4th qrtr when he starts playing 1on1 streetball. He takes low % shots.

Believe me, as a kid i was super mad when Stock passed Magic in assists and i always discredited him. But now i look at his career and have to give him his props.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
His assist to turnover ration was horrible in The Finals, but "Chicks dig the long ball" :skip:

If being a great PG has evolved into "n1gga that makes a gang of 3's" then he should be #1 on everybody's list...

What has assist to turnover ratio gotten CP3? :lupe:

I don't value the PG position much, if you're not a scorer I couldn't care less about you, Magic is the one exception. I had a thread asking if the PG spot was even worth the max before, I only value scoring guards now.

The best PGs in the league right now are not traditional PGs, they are dudes that will hang 40 on you if you don't bring the defense.

You'd be crazy not to take Curry if him, Isiah Thomas, John Stockton and everybody else besides Magic were there to draft.

If Steph and Magic were there to be taken and you need a pg you're choosing between:

The goat passer vs the goat shooter.

Can't go wrong with either. That being said, yup Curry and Magic are 1a and 1b.

CP3 doesn't score enough, they need him to be more selfish yet he's too concerned with getting assists and running the offense to perfection.

Healthy Rose, Westbrook, Curry etc are all scoring PGs and have had more success leading their teams than him. That assist to TO ratio though :wow:

You're a hooper right?

Have you ever played with a good pass first point guard? Especially one that defends and picks up 94 feet?

:banderas:

There ain't no shotclock in the gym, and a dude picking up 94 feet in a pickup game gets the :upsetfavre:

I'd take GP over Stockton too :mjpls: at least he could score when you needed him to.

You heavily implied he was a product of Malone in here

He's not leading this Warriors team anywhere, and I'd take Curry over him. I don't like pass first PGs, never have and I never will :RedGodGrill:

Magic is the lone exception to my pass first rule, because he's a ridiculous outlier due to his size. We can't shyt on CP3, then turn around and praise Stockton, he was good, but if TheColi shyts on CP3 they gotta do the same with Stockton. That micromanaging a team's offense is for the birds, if you ain't 6'2" or taller I'm not even sure I want the ball in your hands anymore :scust:
