I 100% agree with the bolded and the first part is not arguable, but then again, all great players benefited from another great player next to them, but Stockton/Malone were somewhat dependent on each other

Curry barely played pg in the series, nikka was the warriors sg who can make plays. Here and there. You cant be better pg when you're off the ball 50% of the game

That's cause the Cavs were so scared of his ability to score that they had to hard double him. Isn't that the job of a PG to bend defenses and open up shots for teammates? Just cause Steph wasn't getting the assists doesn't mean he wasn't the reason for the baskets.

I like scoring PGs who can pass way more than pass first point guards. The scoring threat just breaks defenses down much more versus how teams defend PGs who are too unselfish. Teams will give them the one-on-one coverage trying to make them score and take them out of their game which can throw that team's offense off balance.

tell that to James Harden he actually finished 4th this year in assist. Lebron was 3rd. Russy didn't qualify. They all have the highest USG% in the nba.

If you watch the games, they perform the most basic duties of the PG for their squads

Look at their height. You can't have them playing 2 guard (russy the exception) they would get ate up on defense.

Imagine curry trying to guard wade, harden, kobe, etc... They play like SG's, but their heights make them PGs

Stockton probably has more double doubles as well. How many 10+ rebound games were you expecting stockton to get being 6'3 6'4 and not asked to to rebound like that?
