Is Steph Curry on his way to passing up Zeke & Stockton & being the 2nd best PG after Magic?

its hard to compare steph to those two because steph isnt a traditional pg in the sense that stockton is. stockton and isaiah are up there in all time assists. not sure if steph will ever reach that mark. stockton played 20 years in the league at a respectable level. do you see steph playing that long?

I'd rather have Curry over Stockton :yeshrug:

Pass first PGs that aren't named Magic do nothing for me.

Would stockton be able to consistently break down his man in isolation?

I dont think so which is why i prefer the modern legends like russell westbrook, steph curry, steve francis, etc.

So because of rebounding? :francis:

That aint enough for me to take Kidd over Stockton, Im going Stockton for sure here. I dont think its really close either
That's your choice..

But it ain't like Kidd isn't #2 all time in assists right behind Stockton..

A PG that can rebound and start the break is a real weapon imo...It creates extra possessions plus cuts down on turnovers because you don't have a Dwight and D Jordan type trying to make outlet passes..

Yeah, its definitely preference, not fair for me to say its not close

And that last part is a good point, Kidd was the master at that

Stephon Marbury, Baron Davis & Steve Francis opened the doors for these new PGs, before it was all about stuffy assists and setting up your teammates which is why the NBA had so many specialists back in the day that could only do 1 thing well.

Long live the scoring PG :wow:

He needs to get another ring before he's in the same class as Zeke

He'd have to have another 6 years of killing it before he can stand next to Zeke......

Different eras.... fun to compare.. all hypotheticals tho... no substance....and I can easily see Stockton averaging 20 plus in this era....

Kidd is better than Stockton. Jason Kidd is probably the smartest player in the history of the game.

Those 5 threes a game in the playoffs are back breaking though, I can live with boneheaded mistakes when someone can make a 28 foot shot at 42%.
I was referring to dude saying Curry was an underrated passer, nothing about his shooting or his overall game.
