i think it's pretty selfish to think someone should suffer living a life they are displeased with enough that they want to kill themselves just to keep you happy.

A lot of things. My personal experiences, others experiences, various religious texts, etc.

I believe we reincarnate on this plane until we get karmically correct. Once we prove ourselves, we go somewhere much better.

But gotta prove you're worthy.

That to me is the whole point of our life. Live with integrity no matter what you go thru.

We are ALL being tested in many different ways. How do you react to those tests defines your character.

By definition it is selfless. Removing yourself from taking resources so that these resources can go toward another.

It's definitely selfish. The only way I could remotely understand it is if you're dying in bed for months and just waiting to die.

My friends grandfather was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer and he killed himself.

Yeah I've been really down before, but I could NEVER imagine doing that to my mom. The pain that would cause her would burn my soul in the after life.

Do you really believe that? That God punishes those that do this? Then why would he make people more prone to it to begin with to just turn around and punish them when they do what their God-given brain is telling them?

I think it would be cruel of God to make some people that have these thoughts, and make some people that don't, and then punish the ones that act on it.

I believe in a higher power but I do NOT believe in and refuse to worship a God that is supposed to be all-knowing that would punish its creations for making what it thinks are bad decisions. That kind of God sounds like a dikk, tbh.

Yes if you have kids or you got people who would be really tore up if they lost you. But mainly if you have kids. You're basically saying they ain't worth living for. They depend on you and even if they are grown it's still bad. It's bad regardless.

Highest suicide rates in the world are in the East, and are in poor countries

India's suicide rate is higher than the US


People in the western world (rich countries) often have higher rates of depression but are less likely to kill themselves.

we live in a society where my likes and dislikes make me less black in the eyes of others regardless of my skin tone or heritage....

but it's impossible for me to be clinically depressed regardless of what's going on in my head, and I simply need to man up.

Bullshyt. I've known people with severe mental conditions. When they are living a clean and healthy lifestyle, exercising etc their mental problems are virtually nil. If they are heavy drinkers/druggies, watch out. It's up to them.

Whatever your genetic makeup/deformities/disabilities are, it is likely karmic balancing from your current or past life.

If you are putting out negativity, you attract negativity. It's the energy flow of the universe. Call it God or whatever you want but that's how it works.

You hate God because you don't want to take responsibility for yourself and your actions. You will continue getting those lessons until you grasp that what you're doing is morally wrong. Yes believe it or not, THERE IS SUCH A THING AS RIGHT OR WRONG.

You sound like a little kid who gets grounded by your parents and you think they are the meanest people on earth, you hate them and want to run away. Do you really think they do that because they hate you? No it's the opposite, they love you and are teaching you a lesson.
