He’s a right place, right time coach..not sure what he did in developing the hawks players, they were all pretty much good players at that point anyway
He really didn’t take part in developing any of their talent…but is reaping the benefits of it

The irony is that now Jason Kidd is in the opposite situation. Reaping the benefits of Rick Carlisle
i mean, in general terms..they have a generational player with a good team around him
it’s not like he’s turning the magic into the 5th seed all of a sudden with cole Anthony looking like kobe
He's a decent coach, but he might be one of those coaches who despite taking his team to the playoffs and or having a winning record most of his tenure there, will get fired for a legitimate coach who then takes that team to the finals.
Happened with Mark Jackson, Doug Collins, Rick Carlisle, and etc.

But he wont because he's a Young White Coach. They are basically un-fireable
