this guy is on TV, he doesn't have a real job.
Didn't watch the clip, so off the strength of the thread title..
If companies, even if the are low paying ones, have to pay people to interview, then that is a telling sign that things aren't going well.
For me, my work ethic is solid AF! I could say that most people I work with have a solid work ethic as well..
There was this waitress a few days ago telling me that her daughters (teenagers) are lazy and don't wanna work. In my mind, I was thinking that their attitudes is a reflection of the waitress's rearing..
But, the waitress herself was one of the better servers I have had in quite some time, so I made sure she got a decent tip(slightly above the standard 20%).
americans work more than their peers in first world countries..
No one works more than Canadians.
Nah. Americans still have that go getter mindset, its just directed at other fields so to speak.
Thats just a natural progession of a society
Nothing to do with people not wanting to work. It’s the incentive to work. After this pandemic people see through the bullshyt. The youngsters aren’t so happy to work their ass off for the rest of their lives for pennies on the dollars so corporations and executives can hog all of the money and in turn call them lazy.
I’m actually surprised it took a pandemic for this shyt to start happening. You got people out here working sixty hours a week and can’t afford a decent spot to live. Work ethic itself ain’t the problem. It’s the reward for the average worker isn’t there.
These companies gotta pay people to interview because their actual jobs aren’t paying living wages and people would be better off on the government’s tit.
Gap between the rich and poor is growing every year, but people will have the cheek to question those coming to the realisation that their hard work is not rewarded.
The system is broken and we had a opportunity to flip this whole shyt during the pandemic but alas revolution is better served on twitter than in real life
