Tlr has people who challenge or demand specific policy from democrats. Since black Americans vote 85 to 90 percent dem, and every other group gets specific policy
And because of that the pro liberals on this site call them Republicans
I don't see any proof that 95 percent of them are Republicans or embrace Republican policy
Niether party gives black Americans any specific policy
So I find tlr to be neutral
Hardcore dems hate tlr cause it's not one sided in they favor
This. The differing views expressed in that Roe thread seem consistent with real life which is why this is an invaluable space for black men. A large part of TLR reflects the sentiments of the average black man who's not part of the professional, political, or intersectional college-educated class.
And I know that bothers the fukk out of the above-mentioned on here, but it is what is. To reduce it as conservative or right-wing is oversimplifying the matter. In reality, these are decades-old, pre-internet views that are reflected on here (that don't neatly align with white politics) so the contrarian, faux militant, smart dumb nikka slanders are more appropriate....but why are we even bringing this up now and seemingly every time the Democrats catch an L.
Seems like a time for Democratic party self-reflection, not for blaming a small percentage of reasonably disaffected voters who are not moving the needle anyway. Isn't it enough that Dems get 90% of the black vote (and only praise black women when that vote turns the tide), but you know the blame Tariq and the Kyrie Irving's of the world think pieces are coming,
