WHOA no I'm hetero, but I wanted to do acting because I was always interested in it . Also, nope I'm not doing a casting couch this isn't porn man.
I just wanted to do indie acting to be honest. Plus, I kinda want my own niche fan base because I know I'm not a mainstream type of brotha.
Cool I'll do that thanks bruh.Get an agent to hook you up with some jobs as an extra. That's your foot in the door.

fukk outta my thread and you knowKNEEGA U GAY!!!
I took drama class in the 11th Grade, but I dropped out because I wasn't comfortable. Now, that I'm slowly getting my confidence back I think I have what it takes. Plus, in IT I have to talk to people, so acting can help me get more comfortable around people and etc. Plus, it would be a great thing to act out scenes and etc. This is a common misconception. Folks do not need an agency until they are sure they are talented and possess the 'it' necessary to cut it in show business. Search for work as an extra and network. As you build your chops, you also build relationships. You also learn a lot about what NOT to do.
Not all or even most talent agencies are bad but I would suggest representing oneself as long as possible. You are better off faking it until you make it if you haven't been groomed in a school or from a certain social circle. It's also more money in your pocket percentage wise.
The best way to get into entertainment as what OP describes as an intern is to go to shows and learn/socialize as much as possible. This will lead to opportunities for modeling, hosting or even just working the door. Everyone has to start somewhere and going to an agency too soon can be bad news.
And to be perfectly honest, there are some folks that should just go out to agencies because they got it. But it isn't most of them (the legitimate ones; scams abound). Show business is BUSINESS and there is no point in hiring someone to put you out there if you aren't ready.
@JudgeJoeGorilla maybe you've explained this in other threads, but what makes you think you have what it takes to be an actor? Do you have any experience in this at all?

Alright, well I linked that Seattle acting class site. The acting teacher there has a lot of work he's done. So, if I go there I will do those and get headshots.find/form an improv troupe.
That's if I decide to move to L.A. Right now, I'm seeing which is better for IT. If I move to Seattle that means I'll be driving to Vancouver B.C. to do Acting and etc.
