He's way faster. Worse, Flash's powers are more akin to reality warping than anything. He can literally just steal supermans speed and leave him immobile forever before supes could even react.I think they've recently made Flash slightly faster than Supes but supes still wins because he's more durable and is the better fighter.
This should be someone's university thesisI’m not so sure this is universally true. If you got time, I could demonstrate this for you with math and a little Euclidean geometry. I apologize for lengthy post
I think flash’s greatest weakness is the fact that he’s a fast running human.
This allows us 3 postulates(assumed true)
- It’s assumed that this fight is on earth. (the human thing)
- Additionally, running requires flash to be on the ground.
- Anything that impedes the motion of his feet slows Flash down and is a plus for Superman who can just levitate and fly to top speed.
As things currently stand, flash is slightly faster than Superman when running on the ground. But let’s consider the ground for a second here. What is the ground? Stay with me here, this is very relevant. Sometimes the ground has a flat slope like this.
![]()
other times the ground has a positive slope like this.....
![]()
or a negative slope like this....
![]()
but when you consider the entire planet, you start to get something like this (curvature of planet). It resembles a half parabola for the distance we are concerned with.....
![]()
This curvature is how Supes can catch flash before he becomes a problem. In Euclidean geometry, it is assumed that the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line going from point A to pointB. Any deviation from this straight line increases the distance traveled by an object along that line and also increases the time to get to the end of that line. But how does this relate to the Flash vs. Superman?
My first postulate assumes that this fight is on planet earth. Do you agree? And I also established that the earth is not a flat line(zero slope). It has ups/downs but generally has a curvature the farther you go across it.
My 2nd postulate assumes that Flash is running on the ground. If flash is running on the ground which is rarely flat and zero-sloped; then he CANNOT take the shortest distance from point A to point B. He must increase the time and distance traveled to get to the same point as I just established from Euclidean geometry.
But Superman does not have this problem. Dude can fly through buildings, planets, and the ground itself.
![]()
So, while Flash is taking the long way around, Superman is free to cut corners, catch up to Flash, and kick his kneecaps off.
You see my point? Any objections?![]()
ExactlyHow is flash getting to krypton?
I don’t understand anything you typed but I’m using this for any future argument I may haveI’m not so sure this is universally true. If you got time, I could demonstrate this for you with math and a little Euclidean geometry. I apologize for lengthy post

Superman can beat anybody
That's basically his definition
I can whoop any ass. I just be bein nice sometimes an shyt an not atomizing a mf
But lets say there's some objective rules of comic physics or sumn.
Still Superman.
Two dudes. One is 125 lbs. The other is 325 lbs. The smaller guy is TWICE as fast as the big guy. Doesn't matter one bit. Big dude is gonna eventually grab this lil dude and kill him
And Flash ain't TWICE as fast as Super. I would like to think he's at 110% of Super or sumn. Certainly faster, but in the same category
When they use to race they would never get a chance to finish it because some villain would interrupt them. So it was always kinda left in the air who was actually the fastest. Until recently where they amped up flashSlightly faster?
Flash has always been faster than superman
Lol that was so slade fanboyish.
You know a character OP when they lose to silly stuff.
The flash can run through "space"Um....supes is the literal embodiment of hope. Literal gods can’t touch him.
For everyone saying flash could time travel to erase Superman, all supes gotta do is kick flash’s kneecaps off before he makes his first step. Or better yet, just stomp the ground and make it impossible for him to run.
Also, let’s not forget Supes can fly through time also....![]()
