It's the worst I've seen, worst than 2008. At least in 2008, they were hiring entry level folks and offshoring wasn't as huge as it is now. My company is letting go of people on a monthly basis. Salaries haven't gone up either. I remember starting at $45k in 2007 for some data position and that same position entry level is like $50k.

thats how you do it...look while working a job...
If that nikka got a car he has no excuse to not at least do ubereats or something, could easily make upwards of 200 a day so he's not being a complete freeloader

But otherwise yes a LOT of job applications online aren't even real the companies are just required to put the ads out there for multiple HR reasons, if you see an entry level job was posted 30+ days ago and is still there, you know they full of shyt

Most places are reducing their workforce trying to figure out how to implement AI into their workflows, and since AI is only going to get better the chances of them opening up employment opportunities is just gonna get lower

people gonna need to put their differences aside and fight for universal basic income cuz the number of jobs available is gonna keep going down out here

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
It’s bad. And the real problem is the pool of workers is diluted. A company will get over 100 + applications for a role and 90% aren’t qualified. But depending on where you’re at in the que, they may not even get to your application.

Basically if you’re not the first few people to apply, you might be assed out. They may get tired of setting up interviews and settle.

The job market is definitely bad between ghost jobs, 4 rounds of interviews and these young recruiters, it was definitely the worst I’ve ever experienced. I started looking for a new job while still at my old job then got fed up and just quit without having a new job. Took almost a year to date to finally get my new job recently.

I will say yes it is bad but also I think the volume game doesn’t work anymore. Sounds simple and maybe I was late on it but once I started using AI to customize my resume to each application instead of just mass applying my interview rate increased tremendously. Oddly enough my new gig had the least layers of interviews and waiting but provided the most opportunity for growth.

Yeah the job market is terrible but I agree with OP. You gotta have some income coming in until you get the job you truly want. You should never be too proud to work anywhere especially if you have a family to support. You laying up on the couch while your wife is out there getting it is crazy :mjtf:

It us really bad and at the same time it's not that bad.

If you competing for those top jobs, it's really rough and competitive. It's like some top jobs have closed down and the people laid off from there are flooding the market looking for co parable salaries and benefits.

Now tgere are a good supply of unskilled jobs available.

Yes I know. I'm not making shyt up tho

You want to be a writer? Take some criticism. Otherwise what are you doing it for?

From having 3 baby mother roommates to fake co-workers and fake family but the situations are always the same. You like a broke straight Tyler Perry.
