The biggest issue with the Lions this year, they threw Montgomery into the trash and relied on Gibbs too much.

The last two years it was Sonic & Knuckles, and now it's just Sonic.

As someone who has Montgomery in fantasy football, 100% agree

I never really saw the Lions as real contenders. Jared Goff has maxed out as a QB and Dan Campbells extremely aggressive coaching style was complimented by Ben Johnson's genius and Aaron Glenn's defense gameplan. With out them he got exposed. If Mike McDaniel leaves Miami the Lions should toss him a bag to the OC.

They need to see if Frank Ragnow can come back or they need to draft the best center available. Maybe both.

They need to upgrade at corner.

Also they go for the big play too much. The Eagles game was a prime example.
