native americans didn't "disappear" nor were they killed off. they just merged with other races and now pass for white or puerto ricans. etc.

actually he's right... native american culture was lost for the most part. and the natives in america were mostly killed off. but it'd be like killing all the russians in america. there is still russia

most native americans migrated south or even came from the south. they are the same as the incas and the mayans race wise. the difference is Spain the country invaded what is now South America and Mexico. Which is why Spanish people look white but Mexicans are darker and have more features like a Native American.

but this doesn't excuse a damn thing. that's like saying they came and killed off all the Africans, but dropped a few off and populated Jamaica so chill, its all the same. No its not.


Both struggles are horrible. the question is, is it better to be a forgotten race, not have any say in the country, not have anybody caring about them or their plight.

African Americans are in for a rude awakening if all the tribes become culturally aware and start a movement to completely segregate themselves, get educated and start putting their resources to better use. I have first-hand experience dealing with Native Americans because I'm from Oklahoma(with distant native ancestry), have native friends and I've have worked for them in their casinos. A lot of the tribes and their members here in OK are pretty wasteful with their resources but there are a few tribes that have their shyt together. They do have their casinos but a lot of them spend their disposable income and per capita checks on BS(stereotypically, they gamble, drink and party way too much). Their hiring preferences are Tribe, Native, Friend of Tribe Member, White and then, other. They are becoming more strict in their policies also. Since they have a little bit of equity in their casinos, it could take only 1 generation(2 tops) to completely pass every culture, minus powerful families from white corporate America, in wealth and resources.

As far as the struggle, it's similar but there are differences.
