Spurs almost beat them last season if not for a miraculous three pointer from Ray Allen. The Pacers put up a good fight too. The Heat are favorites but they are NOT unbeatable.
no team in nba history is unbeatable

but the spurs got worse and i dont think anyone realistically saw the pacers beating the heat...

Two seasons ago, the year after Rose won MVP, I said we were stepping into a new golden era.

Lot of good teams, Miami is dominant, but the Pacers took em to 7 in the east last year. They're not just steam rolling teams.

Its exciting to watch. A few bad teams, but even the bad teams can be competitive.

Ugh, there's a lot of young nikkaz in here,so I'll set y'all straight.

YES, this is the best the NBA's been since the early '90s.

NO, it's the best it's ever been.

The '80s with the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, Bulls, Dr. J's 76ers, was better.

I mean, the peripheral teams like Hakeem & Ralph Sampson's Rockets and Denver's teams were fun as hell to watch.

Hell, Detroit and Denver played a game in like '85 that was 186-184.

Like 4 dudes had 40 points in the same game.

It is better than the '70s, which was wack because half the best players were in the ABA.

It's better than the late '90s - late 2000s because you don't have the ball hog style of Iverson and Kobe and McGrady making the game unfair to watch.

So, I'll say it's like

'80s>>>>'90s>>>60s>>>'70s>>>>2000s>>>>50s

Yes you had Magic, Bird, and Jordan.. But there were alot of bad teams in the 80's and 90's breh. I love those eras myself but the league now in these 2010's era is up there. Like others have said even the teams that aren't stacked to the rafters with talent are even fun to watch. You couldn't say shyt like that for the 80's and 90's. It was about the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Pistons, Knicks, Rockets and so forth. You rarely checked for anything else unless you lived in that particular city

Every team in the league besides Milwaukee has a star on it's roster. The league has never had it this good.
