You got some trades from the early days as well as some of the stuff in the 80s that is still having an impact now. But the thing is people are supposed to be smarter than that now. Those examples are there for people to learn from. And those trades either involved financial interests or young/prime players. This trade involved two guys that were clearly in decline. It's comparable to those trades in that you had an owner that didn't know what he was doing that was in over his head that got fleeced.
