Plus If I created a thread about issues in other communities they'd make it to the Race Track slower...

I decided to take a look at the Race Track and it's crazy some of the threads that are basically thrown in the Bushes.


I don't remember black threads being an issue on other sites.

The mods tried to move the Ferguson thread in the race track...until someone called them out on it and moved it back.

And realy, all of this hubub over the race track started around the same time that thread was made...and started getting attention. Why?

I know why...it's obvious. The owners and whoever else runs this site don't want to be seen as anti-white or something.

You're missing the point. It's not only about you. It's more of how you have people who will willing post about a controversial race issue because of the attention it will generate, not because of how productive a discussion on the subject would be.

Rarely? I'm shocked my T.I. thread was in TLR still given it's subject matter, but then again I don't even know the criteria for race track threads, I still see bullshyt threads get by every now and then

There are actual disciplines that study race relations--how about we take a more mature stance and name it something else? Even SOHH wasn't this bad in regards to race threads. I don't are how many mods try to get up in these threads to rationalize it...it looks really bad. And as far as it's concerned, the race track is a failure.

You can accuse people that make racial threads posts of "fishing for daps and rep" all you want, but the fact is if these problems didn't exist in our society people would have no reason to make these threads and posts. Do you think people want to make those threads and posts? No...

I thought the Coli was a place for black people to vent and discuss ideas helpful to our growth and development...naw...

It's like how @ModernFonzie said that positive hip-hop is dead cause of white people...obviously this site has a largely white viewership so anything regarding black issues has to be tucked away so they don't become uncomfortable by our reality.
