Rodman made rebounding an art....He actually knew angles and shyt so a nikka like Rodman getting 15 rebounds without really getting physical is kinda fly...

Jerome James was 7foot and was getting out rebounded by guards

Stats in general are overrated. But you´re right, the rebound seems particularly overrated since a lot of the times you get them by luck instead of hard work. And the ones you work hard for count just as much as the lucky ones. But that goes for all stats. That´s why you have to watch games to be able to rate a player´s performance accurately.

i understand what ur saying but so is field goal percentage....what good is it if ur shooting 60% for the first 3 quarters and then ur 1 for 10 in the fourth quarter

Intelligently physical and dirty, okay.
Dude was a master at pinning bigger guys down and going over the back while making it look legit.
Refs fell for it all the time.
A big guy like Shaq could never get away with that shyt :pachaha:
