it’s may seem corny because it’s main stream now.

Like back in the day, you knew something was played out when it got to white folks/mainstream, or random not in the know ppl was saying/doing it (teachers, parents etc)

Now it’s proliferating at the same rate, there’s no lag between cultures because they have been somewhat homogenized

Its all about the homogenization of culture and how us heads were in this hippidy hoppidy thing from the giddy up when it was real, real fringe and now is mainstream so everyone wants a piece but often they're using it wrong, running it into the ground or missing the point. Thats what chafes as you sit there wondering "What part of the Game is that?" as you peep the mess.

That and it was dope having cyphered conversations in plain sight of those who couldn't decode the true meaning of what you were speaking. Now everyone wants in and what they're originating is stupid.

I’m definitely getting this is the first era of slang I need to keep asking for explanations of. Just asked what rizz was the other day. Still trying to fully grasp how use giving in a sentence (not that I would)

Social media eliminates that timeframe and eliminates that exclusivity. So you find out about slang the same time as white teenagers Instantly kills it
