I don't know about most significant. But as far as my own excitement. This is the greatest welterweight matchup of my lifetime. And I have no question it will be a better fight than all of those other high profile ones. Which is all that really matters in the end.

yup, that's why i referenced hype and sells. personally this is the 2nd biggest WW fight to me but i've never argue that was the consensus or anything like that. people who want to rate it high cause of the unification cool i guess but they the minority probably

I think this fight is big cause there is a good balance of hardcore and casual excitement.
Like it checks off both sides, which is why this fight doesnt even need crazy build up cause its already marinated.

Tank vs Ryan is another fight that can be announced a month out and still sell because of the balance of checking off boxes for casuals and hardcore.
