is the sunroof the most pointless attachment to a vehicle?

One of my favorite moments was riding top down thru the clouds in San Fran
I understand why they’re gone, but I miss the look of Targa tops and T-tops.
Sunroofs are cool with me, I just think drops looks stupid

I like sunroofs, however I love my Lexus hardtop convertible.

Is it really too hot to use a sunroof? If all your windows up and the AC is on, will the sunroof still make it hot?
Sometimes during winter I'll have windows up, heat on, but sunroof open. Never had a problem staying comfortable.
My next car/truck will have a sunroof.

i never understood these panoramic roofs. my standard roof on my coupe open wider than the pano roof on my suv

on the mustang mach ev the whole roof is translucent but it doesnt open at all... such a bummer...
that's the next step for these things... to open them the whole way
