Damn that’s crazy. And if everyone is Black like they say, diabetes, high blood pressure, will be helping in our demise.

Best bet is to get tested early and often and hope if you do get it you can handle it with chemo and surgery and that it doesn't come back after remission

Go read the book "How Not to Die". Very good breakdown of how to eat healthy in general and the info is backed by scientific studies.

In a nutshell, not smoking, not being obese, getting at least a half hour of exercise a day and eating healthier (more fruits, vegetables and whole grains and less meat) can reduce your risk of diabetes by 90% and colon cancer by 71%

Also they did a study to see how various groups' blood killed cancer cells. Blood from a control group of sedentary people killed 1-2% of cancer cells. Blood from people who exercised "strenuously" (strenuously is defined as 1 hour of exercise consisting of a warm up and 45-50 min of continuous strenuous exercise including calisthenics, swimming laps in the pool, etc) every weekday for 15 years killed 2000% more cancer cells than the control group. And finally, blood from people who exercise strenuously plus ate a plant based diet killed 4000% more cancer cells than the control group.

So basically planning on getting an hour of exercise 5 days a week every week of your life no excuses, plus eating as plant based as possible is a good first step.

So what makes some people able to beat cancer and not others?
So many different factors. But getting tested early and often when you hit that age of risk.

Catching it early and what kind of treatment you decide to go with.

Your chances at stage 1 are a lot better than your chances at stage 4

Don't ignore things like aches or pains your body is dealing. Tell your doctor at next check up

No.

Cancer is a natural occurrence and has happened since the beginning of human and animal life. The more cell division the higher the chance of 1 cell becoming damage and forming a tumor.

but diet has been a contributing factor. Still doesn’t mean you won’t get it but a healthy diet lowers your chances

Yes there is one way
Move to the amazonian jungle
Stay away from civilization where all the toxins reside, and live in the jungle.

Chadwick Boseman was an A-list actor. Top of his game physically and still got it. It is what it is. Just live a healthy lifestyle as best you can and get regular checkups when you're at that age of risk. The earlier they do catch it the better for certain cancers like prostate
Chadwick wasn't an A-list actor when he got it. And if we wanna be REALLY real about it, financially, he never reached A-list status. He got paid pennies for Black Panther relative to the success the movie had. Unfortunately he wasn't able to live long enough to get the paydays he deserved.

Living a healthy lifestyle will lower your chances, and that's all you can really ask for.

This is life... there are no guarantees for ANYTHING. You can do everything right, make no mistakes, make all of the proper sacrifices, and still end up fukked physically/mentally/emotionally/financially/whatever. It just is what it is.

Regardless of him, there's plenty of filthy rich people (Steve Jobs for example) that had cancer, no amount of money can help in that kinda situation.
you're right but steve jobs rejected normal cancer treatment for a long time
