Biggie is was and will always be the goat.
Like trees to branches cliffs to avalanches

I still can't believe how much he advanced as an MC from RTD to LAD and that's over the course of just like 3 years! :damn:

Like, you wouldn't think he could get any better than he was on RTD and then he drops LAD and all of his attributes as an MC are on other levels.:wow:

D.O.C.
Nas
Method Man
Early Snoop
Rakim 86-92

I forgot about The D.O.C., yup, it's up there, definitely in the top 5.

It's weird, Nas has one of the best flows but his flows is so unique, like I almost put him in a league all by himself, like it's almost like Nas doesn't even have a flow, he's just got this very unique way of spitting and rhyming that I can't even describe or see as a flow, I don't know, I can't explain it. lmao

D.O.C. is sick. His wordplay is incredible. :whew:

His opening verse on The Formula.

:whew:

And yeah, Nas is in a league by himself too. We kinda take him for granted he is so good.

You know the one thing I love about The D.O.C.? Is how bruh didn't even have to cuss to get his point across.
Dude still spit some of the tightest lines without even cussing.

Yeah, Nas is just years ahead of everyone else. :wow:

D.O.C. was a bookworm. You could tell. His vocabulary was extensive. He didn't waste words with profanity. Most of the rappers back then didn't have to cuss. Not that profanity is a bad thing, but I know what you mean.

Yup
I remember an interview he did where he spoke on how much reading books and learning how stories are structured obviously helped him in being a great writer/MC

Yes, he was an incredible writer. His contributions to hip-hop are underappreciated. He wrote a lot for Eazy (He wrote 'We Want Eazy'). His style is very structured and precise.

Wrote for Dre and helped a lot with Snoop's development. Snoop was at his best with Dre and D.O.C. working with him.

D.O.C. was also a big influence on the N*ggaz4Life album. You can hear his style of flow all over that album.

Yup, he had a huge influence in writing for Eazy, Dre, and helping Snoop.
