DMX maybe.. Royce is too purist for the average listener these days. Not to mention, I can't think of a rap group in the last decade more divisive than Slaughterhouse. The amount of love/hate for Slaughterhouse and all their members I think ensures that Royce isn't going anywhere.

there's a difference between being in a group and being a soloist. As a soloist I know Royce knows what kind of records to put out if he was on a major with a push, he can def have an impact on his own having a big machine like interscope or universal pushing him.
