I’m not a stan nor a hater. Just speaking facts about the popularity of Spidey compared to other MCU characters
A lot of those MCU characters are popular mainly because of the actors and storylines and not the actual hero themselves. That’s what separates characters like Batman and Spider-Man from everyone else.
Hard to tell when your initial post seemed clearly aimed at MCU stans to the point that the immediate next response was another mention of MCU stans

Niqqaz riding Sony/Spider-Man because another studio/characters are in such shambles they can't be ridden anymore (no names). Like one posters is mad @ Spidey being owned by Sony and in the MCU but they got to paint all of #Marvelset with that brush to give the new cause some momentum. We ain't falling for it my Gs.Some folks are trynna low key used Spiderman as a weapon to throw shots at Marvel MCU or act like MCU fans are mad at the success/popularity which I find incredibly weird
Again, they should be commended for how they took what they had and elevated everything else to extremely high levels.
No shot at DC, but if they was in the same situation and say they didn’t have Batman or Superman for whatever reason.
I think it’s fair to say they would’ve never been able to do the same feat with everything else they have at the same level.
We are 13 years in and the MCU (and/or Marvel in general) has introduced about 600+ (And counting) different comic book characters across all their mediums from Movies to ABC to Disney+ to Netflix to Hulu to Freeform to FX
While DC has barely given us 100+ between their movies and CW and Fox in the same amount of time.
