The best tip I got was back in college, if you want to be a good writer you have to be an equally good reader. Don't discriminate either. My vocabulary shot up when I took reading more seriously. I guess the only issue for me is organizing my thoughts to put the story together. I got lots of novel ideas in my head.
This is the epitome if giving advice you don't take yourself. But if you wanna write something then start with a sentence, even if you're stuck on that sentence you started something. If you add more sentences around it you'll suddenly start to develop something.
Im not really trying to publish it, unless i could use a fake name or whatever, im just thinking about writing some random stories and put it onlineVocabulary won't be a mjaor issue because if you get the story published, your shyt will go through endless editors...Well if you got the bug, the first thing to do is jot down some story ideas: characters, plot, climax, etc...but the major thing to answer is what are you providing that is so different or better than any other story? You story has to have that original concept or a better version of a recent trend...if you got those, you'll be fine...push on because its a difficult process...I wrote a book (it was my Masters Thesis but I turned it into a 315 page book) and it is painstaking and crazy...stay strong, you can do it
great advice here man
